Upward Sports started as a single church basketball league, and basketball has been UpWard Sports’ most popular sport ever since! From Recreational Leagues all the way up to Upward Stars Travel Teams, young basketball players can chart their own athletic journeys through multiple levels of programming – all while being developed into total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.

The Source Church Pittsburgh is excited to offer athletic opportunities to our local youth! We have partnered with Upward Sports to bring flag football, cheer, basketball, soccer & possibly volleyball to this community.

Any child entering 1st-6th grade may sign up. There are no residency requirements.
Basketball is $60. This includes registration fees, t-shirt, and a special gift . There will be no hidden fees or fundraising. We also have an end of season party!
Yes! Source Church will offer need based scholarships. Anyone may sponsor a child’s registration fee if they wish.
Practice will most likely be held on Thursdays.
Games will be on Monday nights starting in January.
Volunteers from Source Church are stepping up to help. Our vision is to work along side of parents & other adult volunteers to make this a successful venture for our local kids. We would love for you to help out!
We need coaches, refs, game day set up, host coordinators, concession stand help, advertising, ministry/devotionals, and most importantly prayer! You can sign up to help online and someone will contact you to talk about where you want to serve.
Yes. Everyone will need to provide clearances & clean background checks.
